ABOUT US

Our primary goal is to offer affordable concealed weapon classes in order to help responsible adults obtain a CCW permit so that they may legally carry a gun to defend themselves, should it ever be necessary. In turn, we hope that the information, education, and training received at Tac-Aim gives them a newfound appreciation for the Second Amendment, encouraging them to vote in favor of protecting their gun rights.

We strive to provide cutting-edge, high-quality, and affordable training to those wanting the opportunity to build their self defense skills.

We’re often asked why our classes are less expensive than others.  The answer is simple:  PASSION, NOT PROFIT.

I've been teaching firearms instruction since I became an NRA Law Enforcement range master in 1990.  I maintain the certification. In 1996 I became one of the first CCW instructors in the state of Nevada.  I worked as a reserve deputy for the Storey County Mounted Posse and Carson City sheriff's office in the 1990s. In 2000 I was certified as a firearms instructor for the Private Investigators Licensing Board and worked 10 years as armed security for Wackenhut (G4S) security. I keep my own training current by taking classes in handgun, shotgun, rifle, edged weapons and more.
